About the opportunity

Based in Auckland, this is a global role and reports to the GM Governance as part of a high performing and well-resourced team.

You will be a key member of the Governance team, responsible for the privacy protocols across Fonterra globally.  In addition, you will liaise with a variety of key stakeholders and expand your skill set to manage external reporting processes at key junctures within the annual business cycle.

Protecting the privacy of Fonterra's people is critical and this role will influence, challenge, and set how Fonterra protects the information they hold. You will be the trusted go-to for privacy principles as well as privacy legislation. You will guide and offer solutions to the business on changes, as well as taking a holistic approach that ensures Fonterra privacy and reporting frameworks meet all required obligations.

About you
  
Ideally you will have:  

• A background in legal and privacy in a large corporate environment, ideally with a qualification in Law, Business management or similar
• Privacy and/or policy development and implementation experience
• Strong business process improvement orientation
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management experience
• A solutions-focused, energetic and collaborative team player
