ILANZ presents: Courageous Conversations
Come join us for a three hour workshop facilitated by international speaker, Mr Glenn Singleton, author of Courageous Conversations About Race on 2 September in Wellington or 3 September in Auckland.
In this workshop participants will:
- ENGAGE in a thoughtful, compassionate exploration of race and racism, especially as it relates to the culture and climate within their organisation and the justice system.
- PRACTICE using tools to engage, sustain and deepen Courageous Conversation about the impact of race and racism at a personal and professional level.
- DEVELOP knowledge and skills to identify and address policies, programmes, and practices that put up barriers to equitable inclusion and cultural responsiveness within their organisation.
Courageous Conversations About Race (CCAR) is a protocol for building racial equity in the education, health and justice systems, and beyond.
