ILANZ Committee response to the Independent Review
ILANZ Committee response to the Independent Review of the Regulation of Lawyers and Legal Services in Aotearoa New Zealand
During August 2022, the ILANZ Committee worked on a response for the Independent Review Discussion Document on behalf of ILANZ members. A working group of four committee members reviewed various relevant documents including the Discussion Paper and draft responses from other NZLS sections and branches. A draft ILANZ response to the Discussion Paper was prepared by the working group and provided to ILANZ Committee members for review and comment. Extensive feedback from other ILANZ Committee members was incorporated into the draft and recirculated for final review. The working group finalised and provided a response to the Discussion Paper on 31 August 2022.
