Conference Sponsor Spotlight - ComplyWith

By Website Administrator , | August 15, 2023 at 11:59 AM

We're profiling our 2023 Conference Sponsors over the next couple months! First up is ComplyWith, long time sponsor of the 2023 Community Contribution Award and an Exhibitor Stand.

Tell us about ComplyWith

ComplyWith makes the law clear for people who need to do things right. We help over 170 organisations, including most of the regulators, to operate lawfully with our up-to-date plain language compliance content, and pleasure-to-use technology.

Fun facts: ComplyWith is 100% New Zealand owned and operated, and one of its co-founders and its current leader is a former in-house lawyer and ILANZ (then CLANZ) committee member.

What was your 2023 conference highlight?

Catching up with so many in-house lawyers from our customers who were at the conference. Also, meeting so many new people who’re genuinely interested in how ComplyWith can help their organisations with being better at legal compliance.

What’s next for ComplyWith?

We’re busy planning for our annual customer conference at Te Papa on 3 November, with Sir Ashley Bloomfield confirmed as keynote speaker, it promises to be a good one.

We’ve just released some snazzy new Report Builder enhancements, and have the techies working hard on several other exciting new tech enhancements we will be releasing later this year and early next year.

What should ILANZ members look out for?

ComplyWith is starting on a really exciting growth phase. Most of our team have been in-house lawyers and we’re about to recruitment 5 or 6 new team members, then likely some more in the new year, so do watch out for that.

With a lot of law changes being pushed through before the general election, plus the possibility of more law changes if there is a change of government, the ComplyWith Legal Compliance tools can help in-house lawyers a lot with the work needed to identify and communicate the impact of those law changes.
