Workplace Relations Business Partner - Fisher & Paykel

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workplace Relations Business Partner to support and enable our people through the provision of employment legislation, frameworks and programmes which supports positive workplace relations.
Ideally from an employment law background, you will Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for initiatives and practices which enhance the employment relationship. You will provide advice to an experienced team of HR practitioners on legal obligations, from disciplinary procedures, performance improvement, absenteeism, grievances to change management.
Reporting to the Head of Workplace Relations, you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and facilitating training programmes for managers and the wider HR team
- Contributing to projects in various workstreams
- Striving for and driving continuous improvement and innovation
- Ensuring business compliance with company policies and employment legislation, including the identification and mitigation of risk and minimisation of financial, legal, and PR costs to the company
Your exceptional communication skills and ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships is the key to your success! You're a self-motivated, friendly team player with excellent project delivery skills. A critical thinker and keen problem solver, your proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders is a strength.
You have:

- 4 + years’ experience in either an; ER/IR role, legal role, solid HR background
- NZ current practising certificate or employment law experience
- Good business and commercial awareness and the ability to show application of this
- Strong relationship building skills to enable you to partner successfully with our employees, leaders and colleagues at all levels
- Experience working in a unionised environment
