The details: Full time however part-time would be considered – Flexible working hours for the right candidate and to be agreed. Fixed term for up to 6 months

The Waikato DHB is seeking a talented lawyer with ideally 3-5 years’ experience. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in legal issues within the health sector.  

The role offers the opportunity to work directly with internal clients on interesting and challenging matters and the successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial and privacy law.  Excellent communication skills along with the ability to problem solve at a high level and work with a range of people is integral to the role.

Ideally you will have:

• 3-5 years post qualification experience (preferably in-house)
• strong commercial law experience
• strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• an understanding of the public and administrative law overlay that applies to a Crown Entity or similar organisation.
