The Opportunity

We have a unique opportunity for someone to join our tight knit international sales legal team. This is a diverse role that covers a wide portfolio of legal work in a truly global context.

Reporting to our Head of Legal – International Sales, the successful candidate will provide legal support to our international sales team based in New Zealand as well our overseas offices, including providing timely and effective legal advice, researching legal issues, drafting, reviewing and negotiating documents, establishing legal entities in overseas markets, managing ongoing corporate governance and compliance requirements for our overseas legal entities and providing training to our sales teams on company policies and procedures and relevant legal developments.

Skills and experience

Our ideal candidate will have around 3 - 6 years' post-admission experience in corporate or commercial law from a recognised law firm and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong academic record. We're looking for someone with a can-do and customer focused attitude who can demonstrate a pro-active, pragmatic and commercial approach to legal issues.

To be successful you will need to be a team player capable of forming constructive relationships within a business setting. Ideally, you will be interested in a role with an international focus and be keen to make connections with our global team. In addition, the role may require some future international travel on occasion.
