Your Opportunity
Vitaco is an exciting and fast-paced company where no two days are the same! We have a rare opportunity for a talented lawyer to join our fun, high performing in-house team in this key business partnering role. Reporting to the General Counsel you will be responsible for reviewing and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts and arrangements, managing the IP compliance program and providing support and advice on legal issues within the business.
You will provide constructive advice on a broad range of commercial legal issues including intellectual property, privacy, distributor agreements, customer terms, and supplier agreements. This role mitigates commercial risk including financial liability and reputational risk for Vitaco. A high level of legal knowledge and expertise will be required in tandem with commercial acumen.
Ideally, we are seeking a lawyer with 4 to 6 years Post Qualification Experience and ANZ/International exposure is an advantage. Preferably you will have exposure to a broad range of legal issues, commercial and corporate law, as well as litigation, with sound analytical, contract drafting, and negotiation skills. You will be approachable and resourceful, demonstrate sound judgement and initiative, and be able to confidently engage and partner with various areas of the business and external partners. You will display a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Outstanding communication, business partnering skills, and the ability to be influential and results-focused are vitally important in this role. We are looking for someone who can think outside the box and is capable of bringing clarity in our business’ approach to the law.
