About the role
This role is unique and so we are looking for someone special to fill it! Reporting to the GM Governance, this role ensures the smooth operation of the significant entities governance model and is critical in enabling full compliance with its governance obligations. This role will suit a lawyer or legal executive who is interested in taking their career in a different direction or you may have started on your Governance journey as a Board Secretary or similar and want to take the next step.
As one of two complementary Governance Manager roles, you will be well supported to assist the GM Governance to ensure compliance with all applicable legal and ethical obligations of the Board (and its committees), the Office of the CEO and other key stakeholders. You may already be in a similar role inhouse elsewhere or perhaps be in a law firm with interest in developing your corporate governance skills.

What we’re looking for
- Relevant legal and commercial experience relating to corporate structure and/or governance
- Experience in records management is preferred
- Possess a strong client service orientation, be solutions focused with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a can-do attitude and collaborative interpersonal style
