About the role

If you are looking at trying something different then this is the role for you. The Compliance Manager is a key role in the business. You will attend to compliance tasks, monitoring and reporting with particular focus on the Cook Islands operations of this business.

We are looking for a qualified solicitor with regulatory compliance experience to oversee the Legal and Regulatory Management.

You will ideally have had some exposure to AML or have gained compliance experience in the financial regulatory space. Reporting to the Group Director you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the business is carrying out it's AML obligations. The role will also require you to provide ongoing training and support to the wider team.

What we’re looking for

• 2 to 5 years’ PQE, holds (or is entitled to hold) a current NZ legal practising certificate.
• Experience working in compliance or a related field.
• Smart and friendly, a technically excellent lawyer with an approachable, friendly personality.
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills with multicultural sensitivity.
• A willingness to relocate to live and work in the Cook Islands in the future would be preferred as is an ability to meet Cook Islands immigration requirements.
