Prior to founding tilley+co Michael was the Commerce Commission’s Chief Legal Counsel, Competition, where he led the Commission’s in-house competition law team, and before that was its Head of Mergers. He has over 20 years’ experience advising regulators, businesses and individuals on the full spectrum of competition law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, Commerce Act investigations, competitor collaborations and market studies.
