Greg Brogden has been a lawyer for over 30 years. Since 2001 he has specialised in health law, working for the Canterbury District Health Board and West Coast District Health Board, now part of Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora. Greg’s work includes providing advice to the organisation and its employees on a wide range of matters; oversight of complaints to the Health and Disability Commissioner, Privacy Commissioner, and Ombudsman; attending Coroners inquests and other court matters; liaison with Police and anything in the ‘too hard basket’ that arrives on his desk. Health is an ever-changing environment which Greg finds both challenging and interesting.
