About the role
Working closely with the General Counsel/Company Secretary and wider legal team, you will provide a broad mix of corporate governance, legal and commercial advice to all areas of the business including Board, Executive Team, Support Office and Metlifecare village management. You will be working within a highly engaged team, supporting a wide range of stakeholders.
On offer is an 11 month fixed term contract, starting in June 2019, working 4 days per week with some flexibility with hours.
Skills & Experience required
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Hold an LLB with a minimum of 5 years’ commercial/corporate law experience
- Be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the New Zealand High Court and eligible to hold a current New Zealand practicing certificate
- Be a proactive self-starter with a solutions focus and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferably have some listed company, retirement village or in-house experience.
