About the role
This sole charge role reports to the Head of Finance. In conjunction with external legal counsel, you will provide general legal and property law resources ensuring that the legal risk for the organisation is minimised and all rights are maximised.
You will review, draft, and negotiate all manner of commercial and property contracts have strong legal analysis skills, able to provide your stakeholders with commercially astute pragmatic legal advice. Your role will be a good mix of projects and BAU matters - no two days will be the same!
What we’re looking for
· A commercially savvy lawyer with upwards of 4 years’ experience, ideally with a strong core of commercial property and commercial contracts experience
· Experience in FMCA and AML compliance preferred
· Strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder and project management skills
· Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to address both expert and non-expert audiences
· A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships of trust and confidence at all levels of the business.
