An opportunity has arisen in our legal team for a Legal Counsel with circa 2 years' experience to join Genesis Energy. You will ideally have general commercial, IP and IT legal experience and have worked for a large corporation or commercial law firm, be enthusiastic, hungry to learn and have great interpersonal skills.

This is great role for someone wanting to take the next step in their career, the work will be varied and exciting. You will be a trusted legal advisor, you will learn on the job and you will support (and have the support of) senior members of the legal team and the business. You will be providing legal advice in a fast-paced environment, with access to all levels of the business, in a complex and dynamic industry. 

The ideal applicant will have a LLB, a current practising certificate, at least 2 years' post admission experience in an in-house environment, or in the commercial, IP and/or IT team of a commercial law firm, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
