We are looking for an energetic 'big picture' solicitor to join our Risk, Governance and Legal team as a Corporate Counsel.

As a key member of the Tower team, you will provide legal support across a broad range of issues to Tower's General Counsel and Tower's business in New Zealand and Pacific. As well as providing legal advice to the business you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating corporate and commercial contracts; reviewing and approving marketing collateral; interpreting and drafting insurance policy wordings; and assisting with litigated claims and corporate litigation.

To be successful in this role you will be a Solicitor holding a New Zealand practising certificate with three to six years PQE (in-house and insurance/financial services experience preferred but not essential) with the ability and willingness to deal with a broad range of legal issues.

You will have a strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain internal and external customer relationships. You will have exceptional attention to detail with strong time management and organisational skills. You will always be thinking about how to do things differently and think outside the box. You will be resilient and comfortable working in ambiguity but most importantly you will be a natural team player and collaborator!
