You’ll also:

·            Contribute to process and team efficiencies

·            Share your legal expertise with the wider business, including our customer- facing Customer Experience Team.

There may be some travel to our main office in Wellington. Usually, this isn’t

overnight and is about once a quarter.

How you’ll know you’re successful

You know you’re doing a great job when:

·            You’re able to efficiently create legal compliance content for a range of legislation that is customer-focused and aligns with our content development guidelines.

technologies used in our content development process.

·            You receive positive feedback and are highly valued by the team for your responsiveness and impact.

·            You actively seek feedback and can demonstrate how you’ve applied it.

·            You start taking on more and more responsibilities in your role.

What you’ll bring

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

·            A law degree with a strong academic record, preferably with honours

·            At least 4 years of legal experience, ideally in private practice and in-house across a range of legal areas

·            An ability to conduct thorough legal research and quickly analyse the implications of legislative changes

·            Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to write in plain language for non-legally qualified people

·            A growth mindset, with the ability to reflect on and apply feedback, and a commitment to personal development and continuous improvement

·            Problem-solving skills with a drive to learn and take on new challenges in a collaborative and practical way, embracing opportunities to use new technologies

·            A people-focused mindset, understanding that the end goal is to make compliance simpler for the people who work in our customer organisations

·            An ability to work independently within a close-knit team and ‘pull together’ as a

team when the pressure is on
